Katie Nathan was born and raised in Indiana where she spent her early years competing as an award-winning figure skater. She studied acting at Ball State University, a great school in a town small enough to have only one museum, dedicated to jars (run out of the garage of the man who owns the jars).

After graduation, she packed up and moved to NYC, where she lived with a roommate who ended up being a little bit crazy. After two years working in theater, she decided to move west and embrace a world without winter.

Now in Los Angeles, Katie is a regular at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre where she hosts a monthly show with her improv team Parker Posey. You can also catch her in some pretty great commercials, national and otherwise.

Katie is passionate about television and will talk about it as long as you let her. Her goal is to work in great comedic roles on tv and in film, and to channel her inner Drea de Matteo for the occasional cable drama.
